ICC Basic Leadership Training Course

This course is mainly for new mangers and includes Line Staff Recruitment and Retention, Positive Employee Relations, DiSC Personality Profile Overview and a Review of the Employee policies & Procedures Handbook. This course is taught by our Director of Employee Recruitment, Relations & Development. The handbook review is conducted with the assistance of the Director of Employee Benefits & Retention Programs and the Director of Compensation & Risk Management.  The course is designed for all new managers to acquire the basic skill set and knowledge required to effectively recruit and retain quality employees, as well as promote a conscious and continuous effort to represent and enforce ICC’s values and culture to every employee.

Train-The-Trainer

This course is taught by our Director of Employee Recruitment, Relations & Development. It is designed for all new Executive Directors to prepare them with the basic knowledge required to effectively promote and maintain a union free environment within their community.

COSM Training

COSM stands for Community Operating Standards Manual. This course is taught by our Director of Human Resources. It is designed to familiarize all new Executive Directors with the ICC Community Operating Standards found within the Human Resources section.

ICC Distinctives Training

This course is taught by either our Chief Operating Officer or Vice President of Operations.  It is designed to familiarize key personnel with the many distinctives that drive the culture, philosophy and professional excellence of ICC.

Sales and Marketing Training

This course is taught by our Executive Director of Sales and Marketing. It is designed for all new sales and marketing managers to prepare them for all of the internal and external challenges they will face in an Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care community.

Move-N Software Training

This course is taught by one of our outside contractors. It is designed so that a full day is dedicated to each department for all Executive Directors, Sales and Marketing managers, Resident Care managers, Business Office managers and Memory Care managers. This course teaches managers how to effectively utilize the Move-N system software for inputting, processing and understanding job related information vital to their department.

Memory Care Training

This course is taught by our Regional Director of Resident Care Services & Staff Development. It is designed for all new managers associated with Memory Care to provide the basic skill set and knowledge required to effectively work with Residents dealing with a memory related illness or injury. This course of instruction also serves as a train-the-trainer course for Memory Care Program Coordinators and Activities Directors.

Marketing Interaction & Assessment with Resident Care

This course is taught by our Regional Director of Resident Care & Staff Development. It is designed for all new Executive Directors and sales and marketing managers to provide an in-depth knowledge of the proper assessment of potential Assisted/Independent Living Residents.

Medication Training (PA only – not applicable in MD)

This course is taught by our Regional Director of Resident Care & Staff Development. It is designed for Resident Care Assistants that meet certain criteria to provide them with the knowledge, skills, abilities and certification to handle and pass medications in a safe and responsible manner.

Documentation Training

This course is taught by our Regional Director of Resident Care & Staff Development. It is designed for all Charge Nurses and certain resident care employees to provide them with the knowledge and the attention to detail required for completing and filing resident care paperwork.

Payroll Training

This course is taught by our Director of Compensation & Risk Management. It is designed to familiarize all new Executive Directors and Business Office Managers with the biweekly payroll and reporting process at each community, as well as HRIS data entry and requirements.

Benefits Training

This course is taught by our Director of Employee Benefits & Retention Programs. It is designed to familiarize all new Business Office Managers with the benefits paperwork, programs and procedures required to ensure the continued health and welfare of ICC employees.

Department Quarterly Meetings

Every Regional Manager plans and conducts a department meeting once per quarter to disseminate vital information, promote new ideas, address departmental issues, gather feedback and promote camaraderie among the department managers throughout the company.

Recruitment, Retention and Motivation Committee Meetings

This committee is chaired by our Director of Employee Benefits & Retention Programs. The committee is made up of Home Office managers and community managers. The goal of the committee is to find interesting ways to improve existing programs dealing with recruitment, retention, motivation and wellness, as well as create new and innovative programs that will add value to the company.

ICC Annual Leadership Conference

Once a year, IntegraCare brings all of its Home Office personnel and managers from every community together for a two day conference dedicated to developing leadership knowledge, skills and abilities.  Day one is dedicated to a variety of briefings, classes, seminars, presentations and key speakers.  Day two is dedicated to a group activity that is designed to be fun and adventurous while focusing on team building, entertainment and camaraderie.

Introduction to IntegraCare Technology & Systems

This course is taught by our Operations Project Manager. It is designed to familiarize all new community managers with the hardware and software currently at their disposal.  This course also familiarizes mangers on how to navigate the company files and the protocol surrounding troubleshooting procedures with any technical issues.
